Drill a hole before installing. Pass the fitting through the bulkhead, pad the washers, tighten the nut. Connect the water pipe to the end.

Got this to control and direct the flow of grey water for my daughter at her house and distilled clean water for myself at m house. Easily drilled a hole in a heavy duty plastic bin, put it in , tightened the nut. It's working fine.

Well constructed. I used it on a 5 gallon bucket to drain the condensate off the window air conditioning unit. Drilled a 1" hole into the bucket, then attached the spigot. No leaking.

We use these spigots on 5-gallon buckets connected to a water hose. These work as expected with no issues. We have purchased several times, and will continue to repurchase as needed.

Used on a rain barrel that previous owners seemed to have made from a tall planter. His repair of super glue and other gunk was not working. I looked at purchasing another rain barrel but hated the cost and couldn’t find one I liked as much as what we have. This valve solved the problem. There are no leaks. It was easy to install and a great value to fix a nice looking rain barrel. It turns easily on and off to easily water my outdoor plants. I’m very pleased and recommend.

Much sturdier than the plastic ones you can but at a home improvement store. Large rubber bushings give a water tight seal and they even provide Teflon tape to really make sure no water will seep by the threads. Well worth the money! I'll be buying at least one more to make another barrel for the other side of the house!

Bought this to add a drain to my cold plunge tank. Very easy to install and works like it was made for the tank. Makes draining very handy

I wanted a sturdier spigot for a newly purchased Rain Barrel. This fit perfectly and works much better than the plastic spigot that came with the rain barrel.
