Tube overall length: 7.4", tube mouth edge-to-edge diameter: 1.89", tube body diameter: 1.37". You can measure your holder to see if it fits if you just want to replace the glass tube. Also it is recommended to buy it with our existing gauge holder.
Our glass rain gauge tubes can be cleaned with soapy water and tube brush.

This past summer we had a lot of rain and we live by a road that floods. We were very anxious and curious about how much rain we accumulated, so I wanted to get a rain gauge. I searched and found this one. What appealed to me was the design, accuracy of the reading, ease of cleaning and emptying and ease of use. This gauge is not flimsy, it is quality built. Once received, what we liked the best were the markings that allowed us to easily measure the amount of rain received. This is a very pretty, yet sturdy and accurate rain gauge.

Received product in a timely manner but the bird was broken off . It was still a nice glass gauge easy to read.

It's very pretty; sturdy and looks nice in the empty spot in my garden box. We haven't got a significant rain since I put it up after a month of flooding rains. My husband said I should have got it month ago, lol.

I like that this gauge can be placed in the ground at ground level. It goes into the ground just like a Shepard's hook and that keeps it stable. The yellow background makes it easy to read. The markings are large print that helps aging eyes read at a distance. The tube lifts out easily but is very secure when set into the unit.

During first freeze of the year the I find this smashed in in pieces on the ground. The glass is not design to withstand freezing. Do not buy this. Please refund my money!

Ordered 2 of these. One came with glass broken. . AND did not come with extra part as shown for 28 inch overall height on both. Only 18 inches high. I would rather just replace the broken one. I am OK with the 18 inch height. Please just replace broken one than me sending both back. Please let me know.
