Heavy enough to be effective but not super hot. Be careful pulling open snaps.

These raincoats are easy to keep in your car without taking up too much space, so you can stay dry if you get caught in a storm. The material is lightweight, yet effective. All you have to do is let them dry after each use, and they fold up easily to use again. They aren’t fashion statements, but they meant to be. The bottom line is that the blue and orange coats will keep your clothes underneath dry. And that’s all that matters, right?

I got these for my family's trip to Orlando. We were in the parks for six days, and there is no way to avoid running into some way in Orlando over several days like that. These raincoats have some great qualities. They are clear, so they don't stand out visually. They are thin and light, so they aren't heavy and they don't take up much room in a backpack. If you handle them with care, you can hang them up to dry after use, and them re-use them. Some of the downsides are that because they are so lightweight, they are a little fragile. If you don't handle them with care, you can easily pull them apart at the seams. Also, though this is a minor thing, the hoods are very pointy. My teenagers made fun of how they looked, but they got the job done. The biggest downside, however is that these definitely will not work for "big and tall" sized people. I have a son who is 6' 6", and he is not a beanpole. These definitely did not work for him. So of course there are limits on who can fit into them.Overall, these were great for our purpose.

We've probably all been caught unprepared in a storm. This seems to happen a lot when traveling because, let's face it, who wants to pack all that rain gear? These raincoats, at about $5.50 each, are the perfect item to slip into a backpack or overnight case. They fold up into a small, flat package, but they are large enough and sturdy enough to provide all the protection most adults would need. These raincoats are long enough to protect most people to the calf. For reference, I am about 5'6" and you can see it covers most of my clothing. There are extra touches on these that I haven't found on similar coats. For example, the cuffs are elasticized, so rain will not run down your uplifted arm and onto your clothes. The snaps are another nice feature, providing great closure in the front, and the hood completes the protection. It's great that the set has two of the jackets so you have an extra for a spouse or to keep in your car in case of an unforeseen situation.

Don’t waste your money They should be disposable because you were tear them, put it on and tear them when you were taking it off

These came in just in time for a rainstorm and were put to the test right away. They pretty much performed as expected - keeping water out - but as opposed to my heavy duty rain coat, they made for a different, if not slightly better experience. The thinner material meant they are significantly lighter, slightly more comfortable and easier to carry. The bright colors improved visibility, which is something I always worry about when wearing my darker one. While not as durable as the heavy duty version, these are thick enough to survive a tug or occasional rough treatment. I like all three attributes, and combined, they make for an ok product with acceptable tradeoffs. The tradeoffs include durability due to the light gauge material. I expect the snap closures to be the weak point or the drawstring on the hoodie because they stress areas that are not heavily reinforced. Tradeoffs also include shorter sleeves or exposed hands due to the elastic cuffs. I prefer sleeves that cover and protect the hands. A third is on a more personal level: the sound of raindrops on the thicker hoodie of my main rain coat. In my book, that sound is second to none and I would put the world on hold just to experience it. That was subjective, I know. The lighter gauge vinyl loses out here though because my long rainy-day walks are always premeditated. As alluded to, these are more for convenience. They are small, light and fit perfectly in a backpack, as opposed to a heavy duty rain coat. I find the bright colors to be better than darker ones, especially in low-light conditions. For those reasons, I think they are ok and they should hold up in the short to intermediate term. Be gentle when opening the snaps - wedging a fingernail between them instead of pulling on the material - and the product may last a while longer.

I’m going on a trip where it will definitely be raining. I wanted to pack light so I didn’t want a heavy raincoat or poncho. This package of two is perfect. I opened one and tried it on. I am a 5’5†woman of stocky frame and it fit great. The hood has drawstrings and the cuffs have elastic. The unopened one will fit compactly in my suitcase. While the one I tried on will live in my car in case I need it. (I couldn’t fold it back down as compactly once opened). Now if you are extra small or extra large this raincoat might not suit. But it feels like it will hold up quite well for me if I don’t treat it roughly. It’s perfect for travel..

These poncho/raincoats are only slightly thicker than the cheaper one-time-use ponchos, but come with lots of benefits: they're long (basically down to my feet as a 5'1" person), have a drawstring on the hood, and elastic bands on the wrists so water won't get into your sleeves.Used these when we got caught in an unexpected storm in a theme park and they did help keep us relatively dry, although I will say with the many front buttons these took longer to get on than an open poncho would have, and one downside is that there wasn't enough space 'inside' the jacket for our bags or other belongings. All said I think these are high quality 'ponchos' to keep in your bag while traveling, although durability wise they may not be good for more than a few uses being that they're not easy to fold back into their compact size, especially when wet. The bright colors are a nice benefit. I would say this is one size fits most and not one size fits all.
