The quality of the clamp isn't the greatest, and it is wider than the OEM clamp which prevents the clamp from fitting within the space alloted on the clamping surface of the filter. Although the clamp will work in a pinch, I'd suggest using the OEM clamp from the old filter if you still have it. As for the filter itself, it appears to be of a similar foam density and thickness as the OEM filter therefore it should filter just as well if treated with filter oil as prescribed in the Honda's manual. The fit of the filter was pretty darn close to the OEM filter too. FYI, the OEM filter's list price from the Honda dealer is only a few dollars more than this filter however the dealer was out of stock and wouldnt be able to get the filter for a couple of weeks. I'd prefer the OEM filter but I feel confident enough using this one in a pinch.

The foam has a seam in it that was not bonded, so it’s barely hanging on. The rubber boot that connects to intake plenum does not have a lip on the edge like the OEM did, so the clamping ring slips off when you try to tighten it.

Tried to install this filter on my 2010 Honda Rancher ATV, but the clamp would just slide off the filter when trying to tighten it. The OEM filter has a rim on the surface next to the clamp to keep the clamp in position when tightening. This aftermarket filter does not have that rim. I'll find an OEM filter and install it.
