It is really sturdy and easy to use. It is lightweight, and no need to be that strong to use it. My 10 years old niece can use it with confidence. I use it in my shop for the package and it works well.Easy to change the staples, and it never gets stuck like my old one.

This is a well made plier stapler for home and office use. I ordered the Rapesco 24/8 staples and it was able to easily staple through 30 pages of glossy advertisement flier. I folded it over and it still stapled through 60 pages easily. Staple protrusion on the back side of the 60 pages was enough to hold the 60 pages together but I'd say 60 pages is probably the absolute limit depending on the page thickness for the 8mm staples. This stapler easily staples through 50 pages of paper as advertised. The Rapesco staples used were 24/8 - 24 gauge wire with 8mm leg height. I ordered 24/6 staples as well but it hasn't arrived yet. The lower the gauge number, the thicker the staple wire. The staple leg height is 0.316" which is 8mm high. The staple crown width is 0.500".I measured the Rapesco staples against the Bostich Powercrown 6mm staples for gauge wire thickness comparison:* Rapesco (24/8) 24 gauge - wire thickness - 0.280"* Bostitch (26/6) 26 gauge - wire thickness - 0.210"Advantages of this Rapesco Plier Stapler:* Excellent construction* Smooth operation* High leverage for ease of use stapling through 60 pages* Rear loading of the staples magazine is easy and fast* Rear magazine loading allows for changing to different sizes (leg height) of staples easily* Crimp plate can rotate 180° to allow the staple legs to be folded inwards or outwardsHighly recommended!

I bought this to replace my old Rapid Classic stapler that I bought a few years back. The Rapid was nice, lasted thouusands of staples but was now jamming a lot. I was going to buy another Rapid Classic but decided to try this Repesco. Was not sure where it was made (British company) and preferred to buy a Swedish product over one made in a less free nation with hit and miss quality control, but had no idea if Repesco was made in Britain or imported...turns out it is made in Taiwan, I'm cool with that. Years ago when I bought the Rapid Classic, the anvil plate fell off. I popped it and the spring back on and had to peen it properly. The magazine spring got weak and it started failing to push staples when it would run low. I had to keep trying to stretch the spring which sort of worked for a while. The action was a little rough too. I took a chance with the Repesco, and not only is the notched handle a little more comfortable, but the magazine spring is WAY better quality. The action is much smoother, requiring a little less effort, and nothing has fallen off yet. The fit and finish are better too. Needless to say, I was a little surprised, but pleasantly so. Glad I tried the Repesco this time. In all fairness, I did get a few or several years out of the Rapid. Will see how long the Repesco lasts. But the fit and finish of the Rapid was disappointing from day 1. Also, had I not found the pieces and been able to repair it, the Rapid would have been in a landfill after a few months. I think it is a good design gone bad. The Repesco works as it should.

A very good, durable plied type stapler. I think the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I had a better one several years ago.

This is hands-down the best stapler I have ever used or owned. I've worked several jobs and owned numerous school staplers. Before this I would wrestle with my supposedly good quality name brand stapler that ate more staples than it ever punched through paper. I was working on making a large stack of handout packets and about lost my mind.Is it too much to ask that a stapler simply staple the paper properly every single time? We have sent a rover to Mars - how is it possible we have not perfected the common household stapler? In my frustration I jumped on Amazon, scoured the reviews and had this bad boy shipped to my house. (I love Prime 2 day shipping!) When this arrived I tested it out. It tackled the few handout pages easily, like it was stapling air. I folded a sheet of paper into fourths and rapid-fired staples as quickly as I could. It didn't jam. I stapled over existing staples. It didn't catch, snag or fail in any way. It just kept stapling like it should! FINALLY! I have found stapling bliss! (And my old stapler has gotten to know the local GoodWill). If you are a student, in college, just starting out, working in an office, have a home office or simply have hands and you're about ready to throw your malfunctioning stapler out into the street, make a small investment in your sanity and order this wonderful tool that will forever after properly attend to all of your stapling needs!Update March 2015: I've owned this stapler for almost a year and it is still working flawlessly. NEVER has it mis-stapled, hung up or caused me any problems. The only problem I do have is that I have to horde it like a psycho, hiding it from my friends who discover it provides the smoothest, most dreamy stapling they have ever experienced. I had to write my name on it HUGE in Sharpie and the thing is daily at risk of kidnapping. Yeah, it's just that good!

I had a different brand (RAPID brand) which have out after 10 years. This Rapesco brand stapler is inferior to others. It feels and look sturdy, but it would not staple at times. Few days out of the box, the staple wouldn't even catch the paper, single unstapled staple would come out and most times gets jammed at the mouth then it builds up and get stuck. I fell for it because this stapler is $9 cheaper than similar staplers. If I were you, I'll pay extra for one that works and less headache.

Bien, grapadora pesada, dura....grapa muy bien....aunque no la he probado con muchos folios, 40 o 50, para eso cambiaré a unas grapas más grandes y espero no tener problemas....menos folios sí he grapado y va muy bien....Supergrapadora...

This is a cracking stapler: the build quality is really good, it comes in a good quality case and there are plenty of staples thrown in. I have no complaints.
