I didn’t need another fly reel, but I was intrigued by this new company . I was pleasantly surprised at how well it was put together. I have found this reel to measure up to more expensive, better known brands. If you’re looking for a second reel, or a reel to started with, I strongly recommend this reel.

I'm just getting back into fly fishing and this reel has a smooth retrieve and nice drag feature. I'm not an expert but this reel is as nice as more expensive reels.

This reel is higher quality than I expected for the price. The casting/machining is well done and the finish is flawless. I picked up the 3/4 weight reel and it is the perfect size for my 4 weight fly rod. Approximately 60 yards of backing and a 90 foot WF-4-F line filled the reel perfectly. I knocked one star off for 2 reasons. First, the reel isn't as smooth as others I own. These is a small bit of friction at one point in the rotation. I'm hoping this smooths out with use. Second, the drag seems to shift at lower settings (where you would typically use it on a 4 weight rod) and tightens up on it's own. This isn't that big of a deal for me because I don't expect to be using the drag much for my intended application.

I just out this reel on my 9 ft 5wt rod. It looks great and works very well. The reel is smooth and quiet. The drag is high quality and works great. The reel is lightweight so it doesn’t throw off the balance of my rod. I am very happy with this reel.

I love this reel so much, Very smooth on retrieve, Drag is smooth and easily adjustable. Switching from left to right hand retrieve is very easy.. It looks and functions like a much more expensive reels. Build quality is top notch, you wont be disappointed.I can't comment on the long term durability of it yet, But this thing performs flawlessly and for a fraction of the price.. 10/10 Recommended ðŸ‘ðŸ¼

I was thinking this would be some run of the mill, tin coated plastic parts that we've seen over the years in flashy outdoor items. I was completely wrong, this reel is actually CNC machined and well at that. The assembly, drag, bearings, and over all operation of the reel left me scratching my head. I've had it out a few times and it's become a guilty favorite in my fishing gear. It just works well, maybe a little too well.

This reel is much better than the price would indicate. It's not going to feel top of the line, but it's solid, and the drag is nice, even though I'm not someone who uses the drag so that won't matter for me anyways. The blue color pops and it matches one of my fly rods so that was a bonus. I didn't need anything special for the stick I'm using it with as I don't do much trout fishing, I do more musky fly fishing than anything. But for the spring chase on the trout, this will add a nice flare to my day, and it feels decent, and it's comparable to any basic fly reel!

The first thing I noticed, when removing the reel from the box, is the build quality. This CNC-machined aluminium alloy reel is very well made. It's a nice light reel and the arbor allows for fast line retrieval. I was also impressed with the drag which is very easy to use. The paint job is also very attractive.Overall I'm very happy with this reel. It performs well and is a good price. Recommended.

Like the look and the feel of this reelI needed a dependable real for my 8 weight rod. This reel is hight quality at a great price.I love the click drag not found on most new reals.I will be testing out this rod in Florida this winter.

The clutch nut was not working initially when I changed to right hand. Needed some force to get it started but works perfectly now in both right and left hand rotation.
