I had my mechanic install this master cylinder in my 2002 Tacoma 4cyl. It looks and functions exactly like the factory unit, but $100 less. Advise buying the brake booster, it makes no sense to not change both, as you have to remove the MC to get to the booster.

For the money, this has tremendous value vs. auto parts store options. The description says all new parts, not rebuilt. i believe it after inspection. Raybestos is a trusted name. It bled easy with the supplied plugs. Replacement was plug and play. Remove two mounting bolts and two brake lines, swap, and tighten those four nuts. The old master cylinder was leaking into the booster. I rinsed with water and suctioned it out. Once the new mater cylinder was swapped in I was back on the road. The whole procedure took less than an hour including prep and cleanup.
