I have used it on my sailboat about 5 times now. Installation was a breeze. Unit is well made, simple to operate. Seems like it uses minimum power. I especially like the 10 degree course adjustment button. As the wind angle changes, I can just reach over and push the button to retrim the boat. Having it is like having a competent sailor at the helm while I go to the foredeck, take pictures, fish, sightsee or whatever. It makes all the adjustments necessary so I can sail--hands off. Well worth the money. Update: Ive had mine about 3 years now and use it heavily. I have had no problems with it.

It allows you to move around the boatI have to go forward and raise sails.This locks on a course with gps and holds it . It’s way better than expected.

I was unable to install because I needed some add ons to make it fit the tiller on my boat. I believe that raymarine should have some way to let us know what we need based on the type of boat we have. I am hopefull that when I get the proper attchments it will perform up to my expatations.

This unit fit like a glove and was easy to install. Is able to communicate with an older chartplotter system through the nmea navigation system. Wiring the two together was a breeze aside from the lack of space on a sailboat

Acquistato per sostituire il precedente modello della Raymarine 800 nero, perchè si era già rotto diverse volte; prodotto eccellente e molto più robusto del Raymarine 800 : quello che mi ha sorpreso positivamente che hanno le stesse dimensioni e quindi l'installazione è stata semplicissima:bastava cambiare la spine elettrica.

Tras recibir el articulo y no estar para funcionar,me pongo en contacto con el distribuidor oficial en España Azimut y me dicen tras explicarle el estado de no funcionamiento que lo envie.Tras comprobar que era real la averia,me dicen tienen que enviarlo a Inglaterra ya que el producto se compro en Alemania,despues de mas de un mes y tras hablar tanto con Azimut como Raymarine en Inglaterra lo recibo hoy 22 /7/16 y lo envian con el mismo problema que cuando lo envie.Puesto en contacto con Azimut me dicen que lo envie de nuevo a ellos o a Inglaterrra,con lo que es posible que para Navidades (con suerte)pueda utilizarlo.Por ello creo es mejor hacer la compra directamente y pedir solucion a una persona responsable y que no te esten dando largas en un lado y otro.
