Don't get me wrong here, it's a really nice looking corkscrew. I don't need it to be attractive or special, just do the job well and safely.Normally looking at a price of about $40 for something like this I would frown upon it. But I can't. I have to love this.You see we were never wine drinkers, the wifey and I, but she has decided it is healthy and therefore we must and I have no say in this. So we were uncorking bottles of wine with a Swiss army knife. I've been worried about somehow breaking the bottle, soaking myself in wine, and even punching myself in the face.This is wonderful, when used on light of the above! It's so easy to just screw it in and pull the wings down on the side. I love it and wish I had got my hands on it sooner.Main thing aside from all that though, if you have big hands this is a beautiful device. I have huge hands, and can tell you the Swiss army knife isn't fun at all, but the sheer size of this made me so grateful to have it.This is solid and attractive, easy to use and large enough for me. If you can get past the price it's totally worth having.

The RBT Premium Wing Corkscrew Bottle Opener works well at lining up at the bottle top enabling the cork to be pulled straight out instead of at an angle. The fit is very stable keeping the corkscrew in place when necessary pressure is being exerted on the handles. The top handle makes for easy corkscrew insertion and cork removal. The corkscrew seems well made and doesn't wobble around as one often sees with economy corkscrews. It is attractive to look at and seems to add to the whole experience of sharing wine. It would also make a nice gift because of its appearance and its sturdiness.

This is one of those unfortunate reviews where things could have gone much differently. Too bad I can only rate the product based upon the condition in which it arrived. One of the pins at the bottom of the corkscrew that holds it together came out. I'm not sure if it was supposed to be soldered or not, but the pin was in the bottom of the box, no longer doing its job. The corkscrew itself looks pretty nifty, larger than I expected, but I don't know how well it works. Also, even if the corkscrew were in perfect condition and worked flawlessly, I think its a little overpriced. Too bad, even still, it would make a nice gift for a wine drinker.

This definitely a quality whine bottle opener. Looks fancy and of good material, but there’s nothing so special about it to warrant the price. It’s a standard opener whereas others are a level and open bottles more quickly and efficiently.

RBT's Premium Wing Corkscrew is quite the eye-catching piece. It's robust looking with a bold design and a touch of gold color. It's so nice looking, I keep mine out on the counter.It feels robust and rugged in the hand. The corkscrew goes into the cork smoothly as the wings rise up. Pushing the wings down pulls up the cork, but you have to apply even pressure or the mechanism can tilt a bit and jam.All in all... a great corkscrew.

We've had this wine opener for awhile, and one of my young adult kids took it with them to their apartment because it works so easily and looks great sitting out on the bar area especially when there's a party/friends over! First wine opener ever that we've received compliments about how nice it looks - not kidding! Then when my young adult took it with them they also had friends comment on how cool this looks - so that's validity to this opener's design.Would definitely recommend! Makes an nice housewarming gift along with a bottle of wine.

Wow! I’m super impressed with the quality of this. It’s very heavy and all the mechanics work smoothly and flawlessly. The twist motion is easy on my hands and wrists. The corkscrew has a powder coat on it so it slips right into the cork. Comes in a nice gift box. Would make a meaningful, classy gift to a wine lover.
