This is a replacement for the rear crossmember for your YJ that is stronger than the OEM crossmember.
The crossmember is 3 pieces, the outside two pieces where the body mounts and the bumper mounts is made of 7 ga hot rolled steel. The center section of the crossmember is made of 10 ga steel.
The pieces can be either bolted together or welded together.

This is a great repair piece for my YJ. I had to do some frame repair and purchased this part to replace the rear bumper mounting area. It fit perfectly with no issues, all hardware was provided, and the new rear bumper bolted right up and looks great.
