My son and his family recently moved into a big, beautiful, new home in a fabulous neighborhood. It had some renovations done before move in. Some done not so well. While he has his Masters in Cyber Security and Information Systems—wood working is one of his favorite hobbies.So there was some fixing up yo do around the home. But he just could not remove the old subpar screws. He said that this kit was the answer to his prayers!! It was super easy to use, had such a wide variety of sizes, caused so little damage, and helped him stabilize so many parts, pieces, and places with ease and so much less repair to the surrounding wood. These left hand bits cut like butter. Tried 2 other more expensive products that failed miserably. I was very please with the results I obtained from these bits. I highly recommend.

The only downside to this kit is the drill bits that are rounded smooth so a normal power drill cannot hold it while trying to drill something without it spinning. The extractors themselves are great, I used them to remove some rusted bolts from my truck. Even when the head of the bolt broke I was able to go down a few sizes and get a hold of the stud itself.

I have been a mechanic for over 20 years and used many different brand extractor kits. This was probably the most poor quality kit I have ever bought. Tried to remove several broken 1/4-20 grade 5 bolts from an aluminum truck door. Drill, two bolts and on the third boltBit snapped. No biggie. I have broken cheap drillbits before but then I went to use the extractor, and it would not bite into the steel of the bolt even with the little tapping from a ball, peen hammer, when I finally got it to bite the bolt it pulled the threads right off the extractor. I ended up using an Irwin brand kit with similar style extractors to finish the job. Very poor quality and I am going to attempt to return for refund

Needed it for extraction of a compressor drain plug and it worked flawlessly. The set contains all the pieces needed to do most extractions. It is sturdy and seems that it will last through multiple uses.

EDIT: changed from 1 star to 3 stars because REBRA reached out and offered a full refund. That's some pretty great customer service.On my first use of the #3 extractor, it broke the tip off with very little pressure. I am now worse off than I started because the tip that broke off is stuck in the hole.

The splines on the easy out bits shear off and the extractor sockets do the same very very cheap quality will not hold up when needed
