It would be impossible to apply this without the tool, but luckily, I had ordered more vent covers for the other vents from another site, and they had the tools, so I wouldn't have been able to put the vent on without the tool.

This is one of those things that once it’s on you gotta say, “that ain’t goin anywhereâ€. It functions very well. The value for the money is there. It sticks on fairly easily in about 5 minutes. There’s a tool that comes with it to help attach the springs to the screen.

Had a serious problem with my RV furnace. But Dobber had built nests inside the fan and totally blocked it. Would recommend this to anybody with an RV to keep These kind of critters out of your RV.

The fitting was fine but the end of the spring was broken and could not be attached to furnace outlet. I still hitting hardware stores to find a compatible spring.
