I was worried about buying a drywall lift for less than $200 delivered to my door. Yet it was a great purchase and it’s worked fantastically and it’s incredibly easy to assemble and disassemble. I saved the box and I’m using it for storage when I don’t need it.A few things about it - the action is smooth and raising the panel is easy. The break and break release are butter perfect. In found it very easy to push the panel snug against the slanted ceiling - it really couldn’t have been better. So glad I bought this - it’s a great lift.

Straightforward to set up, though i couldn't find the handle at first it was there, i just needed to look. Read the instructions, there are a few things that weren't obvious about the assembly and operation that turned out to be important.Ive been using it for a few days and it works just fine. It's a little floppier than i expected but its not a big deal. Pro tip- remove EVERYTHING from the floor before you start using it. You'll see. There is a thriving market for these on craigslist etc- if you're a DIY person like me, its likely that this is one of those items you will only need once, or so rarely that its not worth keeping around. So you might want to check the local used market before you buy.All that aside, it does what it's supposed to and and is 100% money well spent!

I used this lift to hang 12' sheets of drywall on the ceiling of a small rental house. I sheeted the entire house working alone with this lift. It worked very well for the entire job. I found it to be a little wobbly when extended 8' up but that ended up being helpful to get the sheets located properly. It was delivered in a box that fell apart in shipment but everything was there and in good shape. Over-all it's obviously inexpensively made, but is more than good enough for someone who occasionally hangs drywall. You still have to pick the sheets up about three feet to get them on the lift, other than that the tool does all of the work. It breaks down quickly into small enough pieces to store in a small closet. I would recommend this product. Great tool for the price.

The package arrived earlier than expected! Much appreciated. It was very easy to assemble and works great. I have installed 4x8 drywall panels in my garage and it worked very well. The arms can be adjusted to support panel of different size (4 x 8 maximum). For loading the panels onto the lift lock each of the wheels, don't follow the instructions in the manual. It's also very fast and easy to take it apart, so it doesn't take up too much space.

I hung a 12 board ceiling. It took me two days because I was working off a ladder, the ceiling height was 10'6", my work area was cluttered, and I only worked 6hrs a day. It worked well for me. I have no complaints. I will use this again for my next build.

It's a cheap hoist that works well and is pretty good quality, especially for the price. Most of the bad reviews seem to be from inexperienced users that don't work with tools very often. My guess is it would last a decently long time if kept inside and maintained. If you're doing drywall or any paneling by yourself (or even with a helper), this makes it way easier and is certainly worth the price. Even if you buy it and sell it after use, you're paying less than renting one.

We used it for 12x4 ceiling sheets. Takes two people to put a sheet on the lift. It is scary and the wire hops but we did get a room done. A couple rooms to go. This photo it is folded kinda nicely to fit in storage. The top is off right now. I was bummed that the plastic protection pieces arrived all broken, but it has still worked. Great value. It is a heavy machine.
