I have updated this review from a three star to a four star to a five star; see edits at the end:The bag replacement system is quite complicated and the bags, though quite strong, do not hold much. we have three cats, so I of course ordered the multi kitty version, thinking it would hold a good amount of litter. One bag lasts for about a week, and the replacement bags are quite expensive and quite complicated to put in. The litter/diaper pails that use “tube†bags that cut off and tie at the bottom are much simpler to use. The one I replaced was a diaper pail from Dekor, which I found over the years has worked better than the ones specifically for cat litter, as the Dekor replacement tubular bags are thicker than the others I’ve tried. Even then, to limit the smell, we use individual litter bags which we tie up and place into the litter pail. I ordered a replacement pack of 10 bags for this Rocket system, but once those are used, I plan to go back to the Dekor.Edit: I changed from a 3 to 4 star rating after realizing that these bags are so thick you do not need to use individual bags as we were doing with the tubular bag system. Once we stopped using these individual bags, this device works much better as it holds much more litter and each Rocket bag lasts for at least two weeks with three cats. I’m now debating whether to stick with this system or go back to the other system. Now that I’ve gotten used to this new system and the complexity of the bag replacement, it’s not nearly as difficult. These bags really do completely contain odor.Edit: I have increased my review from 3 stars to 4 stars to 5 stars. After running out of replacement bags for this unit (I had ordered them but the delivery took quite a while), I went back to our old dekor diaper pail using the double bagging technique, and was immediately struck by the odor coming back. These Rocket bags really do work amazingly to completely contain the outer and the system is worth the extra expense and complicated learning curve.

The multi kitty twister has made a great difference in my life. It works great, it is so easy to change the bags in comparison to the old litter genie i had. No cutting kneeling and tying anymore. It makes life so much easier because I have less trips to the dumpster. I have two cats, and I can go about at least 2 weeks or a little longer before considering changing bags. There`s also never an odor. I`m so happy with my purchase. It’s a MUST HAVE for us CAT PEOPLE!

This is top heavy and wants to fall over when it’s empty. Plus I had trouble ordering the right sized bags (XL) for it EVEN when I ordered them straight from the manufacturer.Even with the right sized bags that came with it, they were difficult to change out. It just wasn’t worth it.And it was tough getting it to work right after changing the bag out.I hate writing bad reviews, but they need a redesign of this product. The concept, however was a great idea. I wish it would have worked out.
