I used this kit for my ram 1500 2018 I had a ugly radio and upgraded to a 10inch double sun radio, when I saw every cable it came with from this kit to my radios I had a headache, took it to Los Ãngeles got charged 60$ to have my radio installed they had a black mesh tape that made it look like factory did it.

Easy to install, perfect fit, and much cheaper than others that retain steering wheel controls. Had to grab Ignition power from another source.

2014 Ram works perfect just need to tap the cigarette lighter for accessory power.

Worked as described, fit my Dodge Ram factory harness. Wish it had a way for the constant 12v but it doesn't. Also no way to hook up dimmer. Maybe look for one that has more wires but I'm not going to give it a negative review for those reasons.

I was a bit leery about trying this adapter as it didn't have many reviews .It arrived fully packaged with instructions and all wires ready to go.The Vehicle: I installed it in my '17 ram 1500 which had the stock radio with sirius radio. (your install may need a fakra to sirius adapter for the sirius radio to work.)The Kit: You only use one side of the new adapter (the ram has 2 different pin types on the same plug)The wires all matched up perfectly and didn't need any re pinning.The red wire is for your switched power, it goes from your new deck/ radios red plug wire to a switched 12v source.In my case the Ram has 2 cig lighters/charge ports, the one on the left closest the steering wheel is switched power, also on the plug covers it shows a key or a battery so it's pretty simple to see which is which.I took the red wire from this pack and went from my new deck/Radio harness (not this harness) to a wire tap on the red wire of the cig lighter, You can push the whole cig lighter out from behind so you can access the wires better.Once that was done and everything was TESTED BEFORE FINAL INSTALL, I bolted everything back together and it works flawlessly!I used it to install a Pioneer AVH-8400BH 2 Din DVD/media player.

Works perfectly in my 2017 Ram 1500. A little bit annoying the ignition cable is separate but I was able to tap into my cigarette lighter easy enough

If you want your head unit to turn on and off plus power speakers this works. But retains absolutely nothing else

The package came without the antenna adapter possible because the package was a zip lock type closure and was not heat sealed.Very disappointed and now have to wait longer until I order a different harness and antenna adapter.
