Your cart is empty.Reese Towpower 16K Fifth Wheel Kit can carry loads up to 16,000 pounds with a 4,000 pound pin weight capacity. The hitch is servo-hydraulic tested for durability and features a patented dual jaw locking mechanism. This jaw locking mechanism surrounds the fifth wheel king pin to assure proper towing. The hitch features a five degree side-to-side pivot, to better accommodate hook-ups on uneven ground and easier towing. The rail design allows the fifth wheel to be removed from the truck by simply removing four pins and the two base rails remain, leaving the entire truck bed available for maximum hauling. Hitch can be adjusted from 15 to 18 inch in height for level towing.

It fit right in my truck and it was easy to assemble. I did have some damage to my product that I assume came during shipment.

Just bought a 5th wheel trailer and needed a hitch. Grandson and I installed it in little over a half day. The brackets did not fit exactly as the instructions show so we made it work. I did not weld any of the brackets. You don't need to drill all the holes through the bed as suggested either. The RV place was quite impressed at the job we did installing it. Said it looked fine to them. Main thing, I saved a LOT of money on instillation.

Jaw hitches are better than slide bar hitches because there is more than one contact point for the pin. May have to do a little pounding to fit in existing rails.(I Did) Then again it may fit right in. Good price for a jaw type hitch.

Very nice product.This hitch has the locking jaws, not a slide bar.Very nice when backing up, can hear the jaws lock.One suggestion, Paint the jaws orange or white, that way if it's slightly dark out you can physically see if the jaws are locked - touching - each other.

According to an online trailer company, this model Reese hitch was supposed to be an easy fit into my existing bed rails, but it won't drop into the rails unless I loosen the four 1/2" bolts holding the “Head Support†to the “Side Bracketsâ€. Even then, I had to use a 3 lb hammer to get the tabs into the slots. The bolts will need to be loosened to get the hitch out of the rails. The online trailer company couldn't get one for me for at least 5 months so I took a chance with Amazon. I'll keep it, but it's going to be a pain every time I want to install or remove the hitch. I'm still thinking about trying the "Side Brackets" from the old hitch because I think the bolt holes were not machined correctly.

Reese is synonymous with rugged quality. I think the old expression of"pig iron under water" applies here. These folks have done the homework and provide a high quality product designed to do heavy dangerous work safely. It is refreshing to have a product work as advertised while not breaking a sweat. I would buy this again in a heartbeat but don't think I could wear this one out, ever.
