These reflective tacks are highly effective at reflecting light, such as from a flashlight or headlamp, making them ideal for trail marking, indicating hunting zones, or identifying pathways in large properties. These are very simple to install by pressing into trees, poles, or other wooden surfaces. I've used quite a bit of them in a 60 acre property for the past hunting season and they seem to withstand rain, snow, and sunlight without degrading.

Bright when light hits them but isn't super noticeable if it's not dark. Great for marking trails when you don't want it super obvious. Great value for price. Works better on softer trees otherwise the post bends on very hard trees.

These came in very handy for a small outdoor project. During the assembly process, I noticed many of the white topped tacks in particular had lifted edges around the reflective layer. Kind of disappointing as these are made to be outdoors weathering the elements.I decided to protect all the tops of the tacks I used with UV resin. This type because it’s cures fast and can be pretty quickly “frozen†in place with a UV light, instead of needing to cure a day or more in specific conditions and placement.I tested one tack to make sure the reflective surface would still shine under resin, and it did! The resin layer should increase the longevity of these tacks and their function beyond what the stock lifted edges would do on its own.For a tiny surface, the tacks are quite bright. If you need reflectors for a project, these will work well.Overall these are a good price for the product, but you may want to use additional means of securing the reflective material to get the most out of these tacks.

I was skeptical at first… But with a little headlamp, you can see these light up from 20 to 25 yards away. Really great products. I got the green color… And would definitely buy again.
