I've purchased several. the screws are easy to start by hand with a screw driver, but when using a cordless drill - not so much... best start all screws by hand... do this and you will not be disappointed...

Made well, but i found that the screws strip easy and tends to be an issue getting equipment mounted. Not sure if it is the screws or the way these were machined.

Great build quality, strong and sturdy metal. Was able to use in a custom made rack to install some equipment. My only issue is the paint flaking out a bit.

I wanted so 2U racks to mount on the backside of my portable cases, and these fit the bill perfectly, and the price was reasonable.As noted on the packaging, just be sure to be careful of the slightly sharp corners, as it appears the racks were not ground after being cut, but since the typical person who buys these racks is a professional, they should be able to be trusted to either grind those corners down or to ensure installation is safe.I purchased one for each of my portable racks, and now I have a rack mounted power supply on the back of my cases. Perfect!

The brackets are very sturdy, but sharp. they were obviously a larger piece cut down to the length purchased. The cut ends are very sharp and will need to be filed down. There is also no powder coating on the ends where they were cut. Had I known this, instead of purchasing several shorter sets, I would have purchased one long set and cut them my self and saved some money.

They were true to size and all the screws fit perfectly. I make a 2 spot rack mount for power and an I/0 box on my desk. No issues.

Exactly as marketed, 2U, super strong rack rails. Comes as a pair (L+R). Shipping was relatively fast. Great stuff!Small update: still using these rails to this day. Worth every penny.

The hardware is great. but there are few things that need to be done:Some edges are sharpScrew holes are tapped then painted. The paint is gets in the threading of the rack screw holes. I had trouble screwing my rack screws in the hole. I had to re tap the threading to make my screws fit.This would be solved is the hardware is painted first then tapped.otherwise good stuff.
