I was skeptical when I ordered these plugs but they work perfectly. Just plug it in your socket and then plug the lamp cord into it. Very easy to set up and the remote lets you use three lamps. Both of our bedside lamps are using it now and we love being able to just use the remote to turn them off and on.

As the other reviews say, the pros are that overall it works. I use it at night to hit the lights when I turn off the couch.Cons are that the remote needs a pretty clear line of sight to the target, and that for no good reason at all the outlet is a ridiculous shape that blocks everything else you want to plug in there.Been using them for about 4 months without breaking.

Love these. Easy to set up. Just press the WiFi button for several seconds and you’re connected. Add the enclosed battery to remote and it’s on and off to pair of lamps. The value for 3 plugs and remote is great. Product came quickly. Highly recommend product!

...this may seem obvious to more tech wizards but I did not really see any note of that important fact in the little instruction booklet and had a little frustrating time figuring out why the lamp would not respond to the remote once plugged in. Turns out it was plug #3 and I was pressing remote button #1 not knowing they were labeled on the back (upper left corner). So save yourself some grey hair and look what the number is :) Other than that truly nice and a piece of cake to install!

Just got them and the work fine and are very easy and self explanatory to get them working. Just plug them in and install the included 12 volt battery. Good range of oprtation.
