I'm buying more of these eventually. My ferrets go through water like crazy and those bottles with ball stem not only make them work hard for a drop, they are hard to fill, hard to clean and eventually leak. I've had this rent a coop for months. Never had to clean yet, stays clean, I flop up top, pour fresh spring water in, I have one ferret who is picky about what he'll drink out of and almost died from refusal to drink from the bowls I tried when I first bought him, I had to give him water from a syringe which he drank from greedily. This rent a coop waterer is a favorite for my ferrets and Is so easy to fill ,doesn't leak &I don't know what sorcery is behind the always clean , no sludge or slime on wall status but rentacoop gravity waterer are the ultimate best I've ever used in my 45 years of using waterers!

I originally ordered 2 and loved it, easy install and keeps my water clean especially when I add medication to the water. Loved it so much got me another 2 for my growing flock

I absolutely love having my rabbits water bowl be refillable from outside the cage. My rabbits took to drinking from the bowl within a day.A few things that make using awkward.1.) Having to twist the spout into the base. Like most accessories for rabbit cages, it takes a bit of finesse to screw in properly. One hand in the cage, one hand outside, the usual.2.) The bowl will overflow if you don't have it flat. Make sure to position the container so it's slightly above the platform or floor of the cage, so the bowl is sticking out straight and not tilted upwards.3.) The metal and spring hooks do not work well alone. If you try to use just one type of hook, the container will probably slip once it's filled more than halfway.I use both the solid metal and the spring hook at once for extra hold. Together they keep the container nice and stable, allowing you to fill the container to the max without slippage.The metal hook especially can be difficult to snap onto the cage though, since it does not have much give and is counting on tension to hold the container in place.Overall a good buy, but a good bit of work to dissemble and reassemble. Worth it for the space saving and ease of refilling, in my opinion.

Leak proof - One star: Does not stop leaking. I fill it in the morning and by the afternoon the bottle is empty and the entire cage is a mess. Poor bunny has been sitting in water all day. This has happened multiple times, and I have only had the bottle for 5 days.Easy to clean - One star: To clean you will need to remove the cup, which will make more of a mess. They give you a little plug to stop it from draining while you remove the cup, but the plug goes in the bottom of the bottle and my hands don't fit.Easy to install - One star: The cup rotates into the bottle, meaning you will need to hold the bottle on the outside of the cage while you turn the cup inside the cage. This is very difficult to do every time you want to clean it or remove it.I was hoping this would leak less than other bottles, since they specifically say No-Drip. This may be ok for chickens, but if you have a cage you wish to keep clean, this isn't for you

This dispenser helps keep my rabbit’s water cleaner and takes up less space than other products. I did experience leaking at first but found that you really have to turn the water bowl until it is taught to the container and no more leaks! Love this product.

Doesn't work with a ferret nation cage!! This water bottle REQUIRES horizontal bars. So if you're looking for something for your ferret, this is not it. I managed to get it to work okay by making it a little base out of zip ties, but otherwise it spills everywhere and creates a huge mess. It has no way of staying up by itself. That being said, it seems like no one creates a good water bowl for Ferret Nation, so this has been the best option for me so far. If you're willing to DIY to make it work, then it'll be fine for you.

This water bottle actually worked great for my pet rats! I was a little skeptical of the design at first, but was eager to give it a try because I’ve had issues with standard water bottles leaking in the past. Not only did this product, not leak, the rats did not have to Deal with the little metal ball that controls the flow of most standard water bottles. This bottle had decent capacity for my two boys, I only had to fill it a couple times a week or top it off every other day or so. I would definitely purchase this product again!

I got this for my Mini Rex rabbit. His water bottle was not working for him and it’s easier for rabbits to drink out of a bowl anyways. I was worried the dish would be too small for his head, but he easily drinks out of it and really seems to enjoy it compared to his standard water bottle. Another concern I had was his bedding getting in the bowl even if it’s suspended in the air. I’m happy to report that the wood chips don’t usually get in the dish but if they do it’s so easy to clean out, just twist, wipe and then twist it back. Boom, clean water. I would highly recommend this product for any rabbit owners. I will say it can be a little difficult to twist the pieces together through the cage, but otherwise it’s an amazing product!

I bought this water bottle because my rabbits think it's hilarious to drink for 5 minutes straight at 2am. The little ball in their last water bottle would click allll the time, let alone that one leaked. THIS bottle is amazing. Super easy to clean, doesn't leak at all, easy to set up. I have no complaints and I am so grateful for this. Definitely a must buy.

These work very well, no leaking. Only problem is the wood chips sometimes get into the little dish, but are easy to clean out. Better than the bottle leaking all over the wood chips.
