Kit

We Really Mean Versatile.

Why the need for different size tools if one tool can fix any thread? Great question, Some tools can reach further down threaded rods, like the RT2L. Some handle better on larger more coarser threads, like the RT5. Some need to get into small holes, like the RT1. All do the same thing, but give you an added advantage. How can one tool restore all of these types of threads? Inch, Metric, and Pipe all use a 60 degree profile angle (see illustration), not many people realize this, therefore since Rotary Thread Files work with a single crest and root of the thread, then pitches do not matter anymore. RT can fix nearly any pitch*, in the inch, metric, and pipe family of threads. In this kit, we introduce you to the world of Rotary Thread with our most popular 2 tools and accessory.

This is a must have set. Ive been so impressed ive ordered a second set. As a farmer i come across rusty, damaged and corroded threads all the time. This tool has saved my thousands already. YES thousands!! Working on a John Deere 2510 anhydrous rig i have busted threads on almost every shank from anhydrous damage. To replace these blocks it wouldve cost me $200 dollars. The small one in the kit along side my cordless dremel worked flawless. The threads where 5/8th and id say you could go up to an inch with the smaller one maybe more with fine threads. Ive used tge big one once on a damage hydraulic cylinder end that woikdnt except a nut. Thats where it shines. More times then none its the first few threads that are damaged. With this tool you can start behind the bad threads and work towards them in a reverse motion. It takes a little time to figure out how fast you need to go with your movement and with the speed of your drill or dremel.Ive learned start slow with both on the first pass then speed up gradually until fixed. If youve read all tbis you can tell im impressed and this is coming from someone who owns alot of tools. Only regret is i hadnt found it sooner.

I had a threaded barrel and nut get boogered up. The tap and die for it was $150. Bought this kit to try and clean it up and it worked like a charm. Handy tool to have in the box when needed.

This item isvery useful and worth its money. But material quality and durability is not at high level. I have used several times and it worn out. I expected its lifetime could be longer...

I wish I knew about this product before I purchased a new axel for my SUV. The threaded end became damaged when we tried removing the axel from the hub. The mechanic used a metal hammer instead of a rubber mallet. We tried in vain to rethread the axle to accept the nut. In haste, another axel was purchased. After seeing this product, we purchased it, and was able to fix the threads in less than five minutes. Would have saved us a couple of hundred dollars.
