This battery fit the Vertex EVX-534 radio as claimed. However, this battery will NOT re-charge in Vertex CD-49 charger. Not useful. Not disclosed in description. Product returned.

They work a few seconds before power cuts off to the radio, even after a full charge. Something is seriously wrong with these batteries.

I ordered by part number, but Vertex changed the physical design WITHOUT CHANGING THE PART NUMBER. The new one is more powerful (1500 mAh Li-ion vs 1400 mAh N-MH, But there is no practical way to make it fit, even by swapping the cells, I think.
