As the title says, I found that the OEM bestcare filter won't keep the humidity up, and doesn't even drain 3 gallons a day. This seems to blow 5+ gallons into the air a day. More drained water = better humidification. Good filter in other words.Note: Of Course the amount of water it's going to drain depends on temp and dryness, so don't take these as any real measure, just a like to like comparison of these and the oem ones in my house, at This time.
