I really did not know what to expect from ordering a part like this for my 911 from Amazon. However this works perfectly and after over a year of use shows no signs of wear. Far cheaper than the official, and just a couple of minutes (get the plastic edge tools / panel tools for a couple bucks on amazon) of your time and you've got working release switches again.

Unit seems well made and works as intended. Watch a Youtube video to learn how to carefully remove the original from the housing so you don't break any plastic bits.

This unit looks and feels like the OEM but the 2 slots on each side aren't deep enough to fit correctly. Ended up removing the cover from the original and using it on the new switch assembly.

Replaced cracked and broken original switch perfectly. Opens both trunks exactly as it should. Fit perfectly into place and looks original. Very happy

This is a basic mechanical switch which opens the trunk and hood. The OEM part directly from Porsche was literally 5x the cost of what I paid. And it does the exact same thing!

Other than the removal of the old switch which requires mandatory viewing of YouTube videos to understand how to get it out and back in, this was an excellent replacement switch for a common issue with older 911s.
