I was a bit skeptical about the attaching mechanism, but it works better than the original Oreck hose. Stays put! The hose is longer than the original, which is great, and the body of the collapsible hose is more durable. The only feature that I am leery of is the attaching neck which attaches to the vacuum hose outlet. It is long and thin, which if stepped on accidentally, or pulled on too hard could break. It is fine thus far , with no incidences, but I believe it should have a reinforcing collar or be a bit beefier in that area. But as stated, no problems after using for well over a month. Just a suggestion. This is a very good hose at an excellent price. Well worth the money.

We have had our shoulder quick cleanup Oreck vac since we purchased an upright many years ago. The hose finally wore out and we replaced it with a longer one. I only rated a 9 because we have not had opportunity to determine durability and it really does not stretch. It is flexible item, which seems good, but not a stretch item. It is convenient that it is longer, 5', than the original which was only about 2'. Looking forward to reaching higher areas safely. Packaging a shipping delivery was very nice and timely. Would purchase from this vendor again.

Was a perfect fit for my small vaccum. Easier to order here than go to various stores looking for this replacement. Quality is good too.

My Oreck canister vacuum nor its parts are available anymore. My wand and hose have been duct taped for awhile, and are always needing a re-do. So, instead of buying a sub-par canister that was small and did NOT have wheels which mine DOES, it dawned on me to just replace the parts via Amazon and All Parts, Etc. Sooooo thankful! The parts are EXACTLY as described and fit EXACTLY, saving me constantly having to duct tape old broken parts AND saving me lots of $$.THANK YOU for having these parts available, when no one else does!!!

Many good things about this attachment - fit, suction, durable, and length. The problem is due to lack of pliability the hose is permanently curled making it extremely hard to work with. Additionally, the vacuum canister itself constantly falls over because of this issue. I wouldn't buy it again nor recommend it.

I was getting ready to toss out my Oreck hand held vacuum. The hose was all cracked and broken. it didn’t seem to have very good suction anymore. Ordered this replacement hose and my little vacuum is working just like it did when it was brand new. The old cracked hose was obviously causing all the issues. Very happy with this purchase.
