Replaced the laptop keyboard today on my Dell Precision 7550. Happy to say all keys are working after the replacement and feel just as good as i remember.The backlight is a little odd on the replacement. You can see in the picture that there are areas that bleed through that weren’t there before. Also the num lock key does not light up when pressed. Caps lock is fine.Overall this is a great replacement for $25 so i can’t complain.

Bought to replace keyboard on 7560. Fits as expected aside from small ribbon cable not being routed properly on the keyboard but backlit does not exist on this keyboard. Ordered two and neither works and BIOS does not recognize backlit options. Reinstalled old OEM keyboard and backlit works again. Do not buy.

I found it hilarious, when you purchase a laptop from a reputable company and pay over 3 grand for quality hardware, they find it necessary to not only neglect an essential and common feature in every other laptop, but even tell you, or refuse to provide you with it. The keyboard that came with my 7760 precision, had the same keyboard that came with all of the other precisions and I believe it was accompanying the lower end ones also. I even called up to support and they told me it didn't exist for the 7760, and after I had researched and confirmed it did in fact work on it with same configuration but with another NON-precision laptop from dell, they said, well sir you can return the laptop and we can sell you it again with the backlit keyboard.... WHAT? I digress, the keyboard here was perfect provided ample lighting to see when I was working near servers or in otherwise dimly lit circumstances and never has failed. The key actuation is good and actually not bad as for the sound too. Overall a 9 out of 10 as far as keyboards on laptops go. No gig on the sellers here though...

Fit and works well. 15 minutes to install. Original Keyboard was not backlit this one is. I think this is a bit more tactile than the original OEM Keyboard. Can't comment on longevity.

Works fine but the keys on the number row were not US based. Used the British Pound £ and Chinese Yuan ¥ instead of # and $.

I was very pleased with the fit and quality of this keyboard. I was unaware it had the backlight for the keys. The power ribbon was long enough to reach the power connector on my Dell Precision 7760 (even though this specific model was not setup for it). This makes me happy.

Keyboard looks nothing like picture shown. Picture shown is OE Dell.Light ribbon was not folded correctly or in correct location..num lock button does not light up either. Really wish I could find OE Dell!
