My purchase was for three reasons: to be able to watch the beauty of nature unfold before my eyes and to be able to teach my grandchildren more about nature and to answer a need for my 8 yr old grandson who is our little scientist. This butterfly habitat is the perfect size for our small home, was inexpensive but very well made and I love the idea that it has a hand size zipper door on the side as well as the zippered top that allows easy access for cleaning and attending. It's also very handy that it readily collapses when not in use and is held closed with velcro. Putting it up is a breeze; just unfasten the velcro and the habitat pops into shape. Great purchase and I would recommend it to anyone interested in butterflies.

I bought this because I had a bigger one for my homeroom class and I wanted my other group to have the same experience. This one was a bit cheaper in price and smaller but it worked perfectly. The caterpillars attached themselves to the top without a problem.

I bought two of these and like that they have a zipper on the top as well as down on the side. I can open the side zipper to clean the area or to stick my phone in to get a great photo. This is a very safe environment for my butterflies. I know I don't have to keep an eye on what's going on inside the enclosure at all times because they will not be able to escape. The enclosures are easily collapsible for storing and are lightweight. I might get a bigger size next time but I'm a beginner at raising butterflies and feel most comfortable with this size right now. There was also an issue with one of the enclosures I bought, but manufacturer worked with me to resolve the issue. There was very good communication back and forth.

Just loved my new cages. I thought the product was easy to use - the zippered top and side door gave easy access to the caterpillars for feeding and cleaning. The mesh side provided good ventilation. I was able to open the top even with chrysalises attached without damaging them. Same was true when butterflies hatched and were ready for release. I lined the bottom with paper towels to help keep it clean, but was able to clean with soapy water after using for the season.My friends are planning to purchase these for Christmas presents for their grandchildren as they enjoyed raising Monarchs.
