This CB is an easy set up, plug and play. As with most purchases I do not review until I've used and tested for a while. Cost of a CB is determined by its bells and whistles, because 4 watts is the maximum per FCC regulations. This unit functions as it should and quality is very good considering it's cost. Reception is good and is solely is dependent on antenna location. The important component is the antenna and quality coaxial cable. I will take the dollars saved on this radio and ues it to obtain a quality low loss antenna setup. Bottom line this CB works as it should and would purchase again for my other vehicles.

Great little radio, easy to install and setup. Small size makes it very convenient when not having a lot of real estate for mounting. In North Maine and was picking up traffic down in the Carolinas. Highly recommend, can't beat the price point.

Updating my review. Had a minor issue with the Antenna falling apart but customer service was very receptive and took my suggestions on an improvement yo fix the issue for everyone else. Good little unit, limited on range but works well. Gives me a comfort level being in the north woods of maine.

Was blown away when I connected everything and it blasted out voices! It picked up so many channels, it never stopped receiving. I li e I. Washington state, not near any big cities, and heard a women from San Diego! Easy to set up, super easy to operate! Best thing I've bought in a while. Living in rural Washington, sometimes there little or no cell service. Great back up for emergency communications!. Besides, there is something about talking & hearing people both near and far! Gonna make road trips a lot more fun!

When I first unboxed the unit, my expectations were not very high. The unit is very small in size and does not have the normal functionality of a common C/B radio. The mic is also permanently attached to the radio and is not able to be removed and swapped out with a different mic or cord. This was purchased with intentions of my wife using it while driving a pilot vehicle. We installed all the included hardware onto her vehicle, along with a couple extras, and have been using it for a little over 2 months now. There have been absolutely no issues at all with the unit. It is small & compact and fits nice in my wife's Dodge Journey. The sound coming out of it is clear and easy to hear. Once I had the settings dialed in the first day, we haven't had to touch them since. It's a good buy if you're looking for something inexpensive.

Have to take it to our local Motorola shop. I guess some people would call the battery shop guy figures from the bouncing around or shipping alone. Can’t remember what why he said it was but it was something going to the antenna that I had to re-solder cost me 20 bucks and it works fine now Just before warned anything kind of electronic like this if it doesn’t work right or you’re not getting a good signal you’re gonna have to bring it into a shop to have them check and make sure that none of the soldering spots have loosened up or come off. That’s all easy fix my eyes are better like I was younger. I would’ve done it myself, but he showed me where it was I mean, it’s very obvious it’s near the re-screwing the antenna so it’s gotta be part of the antenna.
