I have a 2002 Pontiac Montana minivan that I don't plan on giving up anytime soon. It's accommodated for me and my disability and has a newer drive train and is in great shape. The problem is, it has the original sound system. While the CD and high end speakers rock, the tape deck is a bit antiquated and it is too old for bluetooth. I can't afford a high quality system with bluetooth, so this is a GREAT alternative! It works very well. I've been using it for a while with absolutely no problems. When I need to take or make a call, or I want to listen to music on my Galaxy smartphone, I simply hit the control on my steering wheel for the tape deck to play then answer the call or turn on the music. The mic on the 3.5 mm headphone jack is very sensitive. Folks on the other end say I sound crystal clear with no echo or barrel even though the phone is mounted on my dash. Hearing the calls through my van's speakers is great! I don't miss anything. And, I can really rock to my Amazon Prime Music while on the go!

This works great. Since my car is old enough to have a cassette deck in it, I can now listen to my audio books through my phone when in the car. With it being retractable I don't have a long cord hanging down like I did on my last one. Was a cheaper alternative than paying $289 to have an usb or universal plug installed in my car

I REFUSE to upgrade to modern tech. Bluetooth is the DEVIL! I prefer to carry around my brick of a tape deck like god intended! Who needs convenience when you have the lord??! Cord could be longer though...

Worked great for two days then sound started to cut out. Could be a wiring issue.

this adapter stopped working correctly within a week or two and the microphone part never worked from the get go, there isnt much more i can say, pass on these....

So far so great! Works as described, the retractable wire was the winning factor. Will update my review if product falters.Had to reduce this product to 1 star. This product lasted 45 days. Soon the wire got lose and music stop playing. Wire is to thin and with the constant pull and retracting it was bound to break. Good concept bad execution.
