I purchased this set to install a fender on a JKU. They worked well. Read on for my impressions:I was told by a painter pro that the only the OEM versions work but I found this kit to work just fine.I removed a rear fender flare and liner to paint the flare and reinstalled the fender and the liner using this kit.They popped in aggressively and when all types fasteners were installed the newly installed fender was strong and firm.Wiggling a factory installed fender and comparing to the one I just installed I felt no difference. The new fender was held on very strong.There are enough to do 2 fenders and even at that a great value!

I bought this kit to reinstall the fenders on my JK when I traded it in. I had a bunch of broken clips from taking them off and the replacements actually felt better than the OEM clips. They felt more flexible which helped them to click in easier but they also felt more secure than the old and hard OEM clips. I has the water pump replaced by Jeep and they lost a few of the plastic trim pins under the hood, this kit also has the correct size pins to take care of that. No more buying small packs of random clips/pins from the hardware store and trying to make things work. Just buy this kit and get everything you need!!

These clips work ALMOST perfectly for 1/2 the price of OEM. The problem is the quantity you receive. If you are doing all (4 fender flares) on a Jeep Wrangler you will want to order 2 (80 piece kits).The fender retainer clips come with 20. After doing my project the rear fender flares take 10 ; the front fender flares take 8. That totals 18. So technically 1 kit will only replace 2 fender flares. I hope this helps.

It’s fairly simple. You use these plastic clips to mount your plastic fender to the metal body of your Jeep. It all snaps together. The plastic rivets work just like metal rivets to hold the fender liner to the fender. I would recommend that you have these in hand prior to removing your old fender as these clips may break or become damaged.

Great product for the money. I needed some clips for my factory fenders and these worked perfect. Plus they come with other style clips for everything else on your Jeep. They worked great.

...you're going to need these eventually!As a Jeep Wrangler owner these clips tend to snap over time (plastic gets brittle) and there's nothing worse than driving down the road hearing your fenders constantly bumping into your Jeep body.Also, when you remove these clips, even with the proper tools, chances are these clips will break when removing them.So, would definitely recommend have a bunch of these in the toolbox for when you need them.

These are okay in a pinch, but the plastic rivets are very brittle, and break very easily. I needed 9 of these to install 6, because 3 broke in the process. And I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to replace one of the ones I did install. I've ordered more from a different vendor. I haven't tried the other clips yet. Maybe they're ok.
