Its made of a felted-kind-of-paper- like tag-board, or cardboard, so it wont hold up in the rain at all, but its cute, the lights do work, there is a soft sheet of foam paper between the child's head and the electrical component. In short, its exactly as advertised, came appropriately packaged, and I am pleased. It took me a few seconds to figure out which piece of black plastic that sticks out on the electrical component to use to turn on the blinking lights in the tiara, but, hey- its inexpensive and it only took me two tries. Oh, maybe its made of dyed interfacing-type bonded fabric- its rigid enough to hold shape. My little three-year-o;d Princesses will love it. I only wish there had been two in stock when I bought. I ultimately decided on the white child's cowgirl hat with the pink star and trim for the other twin, and that was a fiasco. THAT WHITE HAT fits an adult. Choose this one for a tot!

I love this hat. I bought 2 for two 7 year olds to wear in a talent show. These fit them so well. With the srap tighten, the hat stayed on with they did cartwheels. I have seen other reviews stating the hats smashed when they received them. My hats were Packed well, had great structure and much higher quality than I expected for the price. The lights were bright and easy to turn on and off. The switch was out of the way and neither girl complained that it pushed on their head.

We bought this hat for our 3 yr old granddaughter. It was a little too big for her head, but she loved it anyway. And when we discovered it lights up, it was even more special.

My daughter is our little cowgirl. She wanted to have a cowgirl party. While I was looking for party supplies I saw this and thought this would be a way to make our little cowgirl standout for the party. The perfect thing is its pink. Her favorite color. When I got it out of the bag that it came in I thought it was a really nice party hat. Seemed very well made. The lights are bright even in the daylight. The only problem is when I went to put it on her it didn’t fit. Unfortunately she wasn’t able to wear it for her party. We were able to give it to her younger sister to play with though. She loves that hat. The daughter we bought it for is 9. And her sister is 5. This is a very great hat though. Seems very well made. The lights are a rainbow color and they do change. Very beautiful. If you have a little cowgirl that loves pink this is the perfect hat for them. And you really don’t have to worry about them tearing it up since it’s made so well.I hope the review helped to answer any questions you may have. Purchased this for my daughter to wear to the local rodeo. It was a hit. She loves it and so did everyone else. All we heard all night was, "that hat is so cute, did you buy it here? Where did you get it?." Everyone wanted one. Wish I had a few to sell, because they make a killing off selling cowboy hats at the rodeo :0) It is a felt hat, so it won't hold up to major abuse, but sturdy enough for little ones to play with. My daughter loved, loved, loved the light feature. It has a switch inside hat to turn this feature on and off. My daughter is 5 and this hat fit her perfect. It is So worth the $6!!!

My daughter really like this hat but it was quite small for her at 5 years old. She has a 21†head circumference and it was quite tight. Had to send it back

This is the second one I have purchased. I bought the first for a 5-year-old's birthday. She has many tiaras (and loves them). This one is obviously unique and her parents told me she was crazy about it. Wanted to wear it to bed. So I have another 5-year old little girl's birthday party this weekend. This is the first little girl's cousin. I know she will love it. It's really adorable and for this price, well worth it. I often theme-gift and I had ordered other kinds of cowgirlish items, including a pink boot charm to go on a little girl's charm bracelet that had other pink and silver sparkly charms. At the center of the theme gift was a music box with a spinning horse, which put it all together. However, since the music box was cancelled by Amazon at the last minute (apparently out of stock at the warehouse), I had to choose a different music box and changed the theme to Unique Pink Princess Diva, which the pink tiara cowgirl hat perfectly crowns! If you know any little divas, I think they will love this hat!
