Each Richards reed is hand made and shaped to a specific length with the finest cane, tested for pitch to A-440 and uses the long American scrape to provide a dark, stable, and centered tone with an even response throughout the full range of the instrument.

The Richard’s reed is a decent reed to practice on and to use during rehearsal as well.
