We have a more permanent standard blue plastic pool on our patio, but sometimes we want to have a 2nd one that's a little better for the terrain out in our yard, and this one does the job. Our little poodle loves to play outside even when it's hot and so this allows her to cool off and she's getting more comfortable with water because of this pool. Even though she loves the dig in the water inside of it it has stayed sturdy and hasn't any holes or anything pop up.

I ordered this as an alternative to inflexible outdoor kiddie pools and bathtubs for bathing my dogs in the summer. This pool folds up thin to store in a closet or drawer which is a big boon when not usable outside. It seems to be made of a thicker PVC used to make air mattresses. The sides are reinforced with something solid like PVC or cardboard slats to help it stand, while the bottom has just the PVC. The drain hole has a screw cap to help secure the water better. The small is just deep enough for my schnauzer and shih-tzu when half filled. I recommend placing the pool where you want to keep it until drained as moving it will probably damage it.I ordered this doggie pool for its flexibility and it seemed to work well the first time. I am rating it four stars. As always, your mileage and preferences may vary...
