Got this pan to replace one from another brand that was peeling and starting to rust. The stainless steel is the best. I know over time I don't have to worry about the coating getting scratched or peeling. It is big enough for what I need. Super easy to clean. This is a nice roasting set: sturdy pan with high riveted handles, V-rack for holding a turkey or chicken in shape and a flat rack for other roasts. It came carefully packaged. We are returning it, however, for two reasons: it is not big enough (the dimensions are very clearly listed, so this was my fault) and although it is advertised as Stainless Steel, it is not magnetic (also clearly stated - "non-induction"). But I'm not a metallurgist, so how could I possibly know whether that is true? It looks like my mother's old aluminum pan...

This is a solid and well-built roasting pan. I have used it twice since purchasing it. It has done well and clean up is easy enough. It scratch resistant and the caked on drippings clean off with some effort. This pan is heavier than its aluminum counterpart but is not overly heavy.
