Preparations Before Use (Important)

Hot spots are generated by the heating elements in the sidewalls of electric roasters and can exceed 400 degrees which may cause the liner to stick.

How to use? Before putting the roaster liner in, please pour in enough clean water (6-8oz), wet the sides of the roaster pan and preheat it for 2-3 minutes to avoid uneven heating. After preheating is complete, put the liner in and add the food.
Why add water? Hot spots are generated by the heating elements in the sidewalls of electric roasters and can exceed 400 degrees which may cause the liner to stick. Water, which converts to humidity, will help cool the hot spots.

These were bought so we could avoid cleaning charred on food... The plastic melted to the pan and ruined our food instead, and added even more cleanup than if we just hadn't used them. Supposedly the pans have to be prepped? Not worth the hassle.

They kept the bottom of the pan clean but they melted to the sides of the roaster, so bad that I can't get the material off. It may have ruined the roaster. I'm still trying to get the plastic film off.Baked my turkey at 325° for just over 3 hours as it was only half of a turkey.b
