I had a bunch of bristle brushes but really needed new ones. These are AWESOME! I bought a 2, 4 and a 6 filbert and a 2 flat. If used them for several paintings. They're holding up great. They really hold the paint and after several good washing are holding their shape. Highly Recommend!

These Signet bristle brushes are great for oil painting, but packaging is very poor. There is nothing to cover the tip and the handle, it just comes unwrapped in an padded envelope. That’s why the bristles are bended not straight as its supposed to be. Its very disappointing.

I'm a beginning artist so maybe my opinion will change with more experience, but I find I don't like bristle brushes as well as the higher end synthetic stuff. These brushes seem to be of very good quality compared to some Chinese bristle brushes I have, but I just don't like the way bristle paints. Then again, I spent a lot of money on some Kolinsky brushes, and I don't like them as well as synthetics, either. What am I missing?
