I can't believe I'm saying this, but this spoon is definitely worth $12.99. I tried to avoid buying it: I tried cheaper ones. But there's no getting around it: this is the right size, sturdy, heat-resistant, easy on non-stick cookware, and the material offers just the right amount of friction so that your food doesn't slide right off but also doesn't stick. Better than silicone spoons (which are really glorified spatulas that don't hold enough liquid), and better than the cheaper plastic spoons (which are brittle, non-heat resistant, and scratch your cookware). Trust me: buy it! You'll enjoy it for years.

I have been on a quest to replace some older spoons. I love my old Ultratemp spoon and was delighted to find these here. The white one is my old one that still gets plenty of use. I am always disappointed when it was in the dishwasher and I needed it. The spoons arrived today and are the exact same spoon!! Not too big, not too small, just right.

It's a basic plastic spoon and works as expected but when I scramble eggs, the plastic scrapes across the pan and I want to cover my ears. It's almost as bad as nails on a blackboard. I don't know why but I would not buy it again and I don't like to use this one.

I've had some of these for 20 years; I came here to look for more, not really expecting to find them still made. But here they are! These work well for stuff having enough water to keep the temps fairly low. Don't be putting this in the searing pan used for a steak.
