I have an elderly dog and I had kept smelling dog pee in my house but I could not find it. And then one night I had to pick something up that rolled under my bed and guess what I found? Yep he had been peeing all the way around the edge of my bed and it was soaked into my area rug. I was livid. But my boy is old so he kind of got a pass and some pee wraps. I didn't know what I was going to find when I took my bedroom apart but when I did I was devastated. The rug had been saturated with urine for I don't know how long. I looked all through the internet looking for what product was best and this one kept coming up all the time as number one. It was a difficult moment when I spent that much money on cleaner. But I had to do something. The product was delivered within a few days no leaks no nothing and when I open The jug the smell was amazing. I took the rug outside and proceeded to spray it down and let it sit rinsed it off with the hose resprayed it again and let it sit for about an hour. I then got my steam cleaner And using the shampoo that I ordered with it cleaned the carpet completely. I could not believe what came out of this rug. And I let the rug dry and then I sprayed it one more time and then I shampooed it again just to make sure and I have absolutely no more urine smell on that rug. Now for the best part I had gone in and scrubbed my wood floors one of which is Brazilian cherry wood with the cleaner and I could not believe what it brought up off my floor. My floor is absolutely gorgeous now. But the best part of all is I walk into my house and I don't smell dog pee anymore it's. I don't smell perfumey stuff I smell clean home. This is so worth the money and I've now prepared a spray bottle that I will keep around just in case. And I was also able to give some to a co-worker so that she could try it at her home. The directions are very easy to follow and I will tell you even though the dog pee did discolor the edge of my rug every stain that I cried over when I pulled my rug out came out. It's like a brand new rug. So for stain removal it gets a 10 out of 10 and I'm a few days down the road and there's still no dog pee smell so it doesn't creep back. This really gets it all out. I was skeptical but I'm telling you this is the best. I will buy it again if I need it I'm just over the moon. So if you're dealing with animal pee or other odors like that give this a try you will see it's an amazing product.

For years I've used so many different pet smell/stain products. This is absolutely the best one around to actually get rid of cat urine odor--which is the worst of the worst. I've not only used it on rugs and carpet, but in my suitcases, on pillows and in pet carriers. It does the job--getting rid of heinous odors. It is spendy but it is totally worth it. I've used the generic Amazon brand but I still go back to this. It will save you money in the long run as you won't need to buy so many products--this is the only one and it is quite potent.

Smell is better than urine, but is not a good smell. This stuff didn't work on Yorkie pee in my carpets.

I followed the directions and used both products. Still didn't work. Save your money
