The Quadrajet is a four barrel carburetor,Its first application was the new-for-1965 Chevy 396ci engine. Its last application was on the 1990 Oldsmobile 307 V8 engine, which was last used in the Cadillac Brougham and full size station wagons made by Chevrolet, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, and Buick.

Carb is amazing had to have a GM specialist come over to tune the truck and adjust the carb to run properly. Beside that the thing looks great and runs great on my father in laws 1985 gmc sierra classic with the 305 in it!!

Immediately leaked gasoline from the top of the accelerator pump shaft.My expectations weren't exactly high to start with.It's too late to return this. I'm going to try a quality rebuild kit and see if I can salvage this thing.

Carburetor was an exact replacement for 1983 Chev El Camino w/ 350 v8. Price was 50% of oem. Ordering was easy and shipping was as advertised.

The carb was a perfect fit and the linkage a good match for my accelerator cable and automatic transmission kick down cable. Surely, for the cost new mounting bolts would be part of the package.

I have no choice but to give 10 of 10 just based on what I received in the box. Swap was ridiculously easy, for me anyway and I'm just a back yard mech and know my rig well . Started rite up after swap. Lots of utube vids to guide you if needed. Only down side is they are solid aluminum, so there will be some corrosion issues internally over time, shorter life span than original. But they are half the cost of a carb job by a mechanic in the shop, and since your spending 800 bux CAD here in Canada to have a worn (ish) old one rebuilt, these are a no brainer in my books. *update* Electric choke is NFG, makes sense as that would be the most sensitive to being damaged in the shipping process. Re Seller: received return authorization in 1.5 days, includes the first 27.00 of the Canada post return charge, so 10 of 10 of the seller here too. Doesn't change my review, or rating as I've just got unlucky here, actually immediately ordered another upon receiving the return authorization. ** Mishland credited my account for the return, and shipping within a few hours of me notifying them of a tracking number of the return I shipped.. Great product, great seller !
