On our sar team each technical rescuer carries four of these, primarily for building mechanical advantage systems. You should check your mission profile to see if these are sufficient for a high directional, but for most scenarios they'll do that too. They're the lightest and highest quality pulley that I've seen and they're bulletproof for regular work.They'll handle 11mm and smaller, use a bearing for lower resistance and longer life, and most of all are light so you'll actually keep them on you.Personally I carry one of Rock Exotica's Omni Block pullies to be the first one (first pulley, at the anchor) simply because twists up there are so common, at least for me. I really don't know why you'd carry anything else than these pullies and maybe an Omni Block but these are really quite solid.

It's a lightweight pulley that minds prussic knots and is made in America. Not sure what else you would want from a pulley.
