Watch the installation video-- the only tricky part is the arm doo hickey.But went on easily enough and seems sturdy and stable.I had originally purchased a different kickstand that broke when I tried to tighten it down. This, on the other hand, went on easily enough, seems to be strong, and does a good job holding the bike up. Plus, easily adjustable and a nice wide foot.Installed it on a Tour Easy recumbent bicycle, so not just good for "standard" bikes.

This is a sturdy bike stand. It clamped onto the rear of my 2017 Specialized Sirrus Hybrid bike frame nicely.This kickstand mounts in two places on the frame vertical rail and horizontal rail. This really supports the bike better than the original kickstand that came with the bike. I also appreciate the adjustable length of the stand to get the right lean on the bike.I had to remove the existing kickstand from the center of my bike because I converted the bike to a mid mount E-Bike. So I needed that middle section to run my wires through.Very happy with this kickstand.

Some simple instructions works help with the install as none were included. Per straight forward one you get things oriented. Solid and sturdy, but a touch of the heavy side.

OK so you shouldn't have a kick stand on a true mountain bike. I have tried a few different racks but my bike kept getting damaged by unnecessary falls. This works great and I'd rather be uncool and not damage my bike that the other alternative. Plus a quick few turns of two screws and its on and off so I can save face with my senior citizen (middle schooler mentality) bike group!I only installed the bottom part as it was over kill with the additional support.

My wife’s stock kickstand was trash. The bike wasn’t thousands of dollars but it wasn’t cheap either and the kickstand that comes installed on the bike was terrible. It left the bike at what looked like a 50-60 degree lean and it constantly fell over. I installed this kickstand and it’s perfect. What I like most is that it’s adjustable. If the ground is uneven or if you have a tight spot you need to store your bike in, you can adjust the length of the kickstand easily. No tools required to make adjustments, it’s awesome. I will get these with every bike now regardless of if the stock kickstand is any good simply because I can adjust it if needed. If you have a bicycle, get this. It’s priced right and works perfectly , you won’t regret it.

I didn't appreciate that extension arm was all plastic. It fit better than I thought it would but it didn't hold up on rough trails and it rattled and feel off after a few miles. I have a heavy ebike that really challenged it's structural integrity.

This kick stand does one thing that others I’ve tried doesn’t …… it stays in place. The extra support points it has makes it VERY sturdy. The stand post is adjustable to accommodate different frame sizes, and it mounts towards the rear and out of the way. The mount hardware includes great protection to the frame to prevent any paint marring/chipping. Nice!

I want to like it. It’s just not universally made for all types of bikes, maybe. At its shortest length it’s a bit long for my mountain bike. Granted my bike is old and the part of the frame where the kickstand is supposed to go is not rounded so it doesn’t fit well. I was able to get it on but it’s not entirely stable and can be tipped over easily. But I like the durability and the adjustability as well. If not for the fit it would give it 5 stars.
