Well, I can say it works very well. I haven’t seen no garbage in the front of the radiator where they like to enter and eat their food and then exit the same way they came in. I like it. It works very well. I ordered one for a coworker of mine. They are satisfied.

So far so good under the hood of my truck. No new droppings.

This device enclosure is made of plastic and includes two buttons: one to turn it on/off, and another to test the device and switch between ultrasound and infrared modes. It works by emitting ultrasound waves and strobe lights, which are meant to scare and deter rodents. It’s cordless and battery-operated, so there’s no need for car connections. It’s an inexpensive. Hope it keeps critters away from my engine!

I was skeptical of this device working as I tried so many others and failed. The battery lasts long and it works! I leave it outside where there were droppings and it has the ultrasonic sounds that the humans cannot hear and the strobe lights that flashes every 5 seconds or so. I do not see droppings anymore!

I have a 'squirrel' problem. This little creature likes to take its dinner and sleep over the engine under my the hood of my truck. I wanted to install something to make a little bit harder for the creature to stay there. So, this electronic deterrent showed up in AMZ and I decide to give it a try. I installed recently so hope it turn the squirrels away, but only time will tell. I also installed some plastic spikes boards over the engine cover hoping to make it more uncomfortable, aside of the sound and strobe lights. Let’s see how it goes. The device enclosure is made of plastic and comes with a couple of buttons: one for turn on/off, and the other for testing the device and run in ultrasound/infrared operation. The deterrent works by emitting ultrasound waves and strobe lights that it supposes scares and deters the rodents. It is cordless and works with batteries, so no car connections required (or external cables that can be chewed by rodents) but you need to remember replacing its batteries (which usually last between 4 or 5 weeks).Overall is inexpensive, so I guess is a good, clean and efficient alternative to try. I’ll rate as 4 stars by now as I can just evaluate battery life and built quality. See how well works as deterrent and in a few months I update this review.Reviewed by Handyman
