Constructed with a high-grade plastic blend and proudly made in the USA, the Countryside Railing Planters feature a versatile design complete with a matte finish and a layered exterior. These durable railing flower boxes are fade-resistant and sturdy, so they will not fade or become brittle from exposure to the sun. Place them on flat 2x4 (3.5" wide) or 2x6 (5.5" wide) railings on your porch, deck, or balcony – no tools or drilling necessary! Once you add soil and plants, the planters will stay securely on the railing. To prevent overwatering, remove the two rubber stoppers on the sides of the planters to allow water to drain properly. I was searching for a way to grow some vegetables on my deck considering I have a very tiny yard. I have seen similar planters cheaper in the local big box store, and I bought a few of them there as well. When comparing the two, these are much nicer. The others do the job, but they don't look nearly as attractive on your deck. These are also sturdier. I purchased the 24 inch long variation and planted five bean plants per unit. So far the bean plants are thriving and my deck is beautiful. I would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone! In fact I'm sorry I bought the cheaper variety at the local store. These are worth the few extra bucks. Happy planting.

My top porch railings are thinner than the usual top railings. I was skeptical that these would fit AND stay put. Well, they did and look great! They’re sturdy, have good depth, and a removable drain plug for water drainage.

Bought this for a neighbor after purchasing two for myself. They work well. I shimmed them a bit but it’s easy to hide. Beautiful . They are sturdy too

I have not used these yet. Waiting for Spring 2025. They fit snugly on my railing posts, but as yet have not filled them with soil or plants. Arrived well packaged and received in a timely manner.
