This was really easy to install in my 08 GMC Sierra pickup. It only took me and hour to install and I am retired. Works very good and well worth the $$$ I paid for it. Go for it!

Straight forward installation. you just need to figure out where the Red wire has to go, the rest is peace of cake. Rostra suggest to drill the hole for the handle on the wheel after testing the cruise, but that's not what I recommend since the wires (with the connectors installed) will not pass throught that tiny hole- unless you have the right toll to remove the wires from the connector, or do not mind cuting them and use a tape instead. Anyway, I'm so happy with it specially when towing my TT for 100KM each way during the weekend. Pergormance not exactly similar to other car's cruise controls, but hey, now I have it with an affordable price, and fun DIY.

Placed order for one, swapped it out. Contacted email support. Said to call tech support. Left voicemail and they still have yet to make a solution or phone call back. Would like to add on the symptom that I can’t get resolved, when you hit the brakes, it doesn’t cancel, just keeps powering and downshifting through until you shut it off. Almost had an accident.

I installed this on my 2007 Silverado LS.Pros:Sets speed immediately.Accel and Decel work as they should.On/Off works as it should.System was easy to install. Came with a plug for the ODBII diagnostics port, but I chose to solder the connections that were needed.Instructions were clear and easy to follow.Cons:The system wants to over-shoot the set point by 4-5 mph every time when accelerating from resume or climbing a hill.

2010 silverado 1500works and not bad to install. fluctuates a lot in hills, set to 70 will go from 65 to 75.

An easy install and works as good as a factory cruise. No issues what so ever. Great option for a vehicle that was not equipped with a cruise control.

I was never able to get it to work on my 2007 Silverado even after I exchanged the product.

Installed in 2011 Chevy truck. Installed the “arm” on the dash instead of the steering wheel because of room. The wires are longer than necessary. The pins that you insert into the rear of the connector requires patience and a soft touch so you don’t break the tab on them while inserting them into the rear of the connectors. You know their in place when you hear the click the tab makes when it is seated in the connector properly . Check them by trying to gently pulling them back out. Putting the connectors together is a little difficult but wiggle them as you try to mate them together and eventually they will mate. Overall an easy install that took about 2 to 2 1/2 hrs.
