I've only used this once so far, will update my review if needed once it's been used more. Out of the box, it was as expected. The suction did not hold on the first try, tried again and it held for the remainder of the time. Grated a block of sharp cheddar by breaking it into pieces that would fit the chute, didn't even need to dirty a knife. However, with the cheese so fresh and moist (even though it was cold), it immediately stuck and clogged up inside the grating cylinder instead of shooting out and into the bowl. It was a pain to dig all the cheese out BUT... partly my fault, I should have stopped and cleared it sooner. Aside from that, the block grated VERY quickly. All of the pieces then cleaned up much easier than expected.... hot water rinsed away any stuck on cheese and a quick wash with a soapy sponge quickly had it perfectly clean. It assembles / disassembles easily. I think it may be dishwasher safe (at least parts of it) but I'll be washing by hand since it's so easy, don't want to compromise the integrity by subjecting it to such high heat. Overall I'm happy with this item even though it gave me a little trouble, I'm confident I'll do better next time. No need to dread the work and clean-up typically associated with grating your own cheese any longer -- this gadget makes it easy! Definitely worth having nice, smooth, freshly grated cheese that will melt and taste better than any bagged stuff with the anti-caking additive. Two thumbs UP.UPDATE: I've now used this many times, it works great. Just be sure to clear the barrel after each chunk is shredded as the soft cheese will clog things up if you don't. Also, be sure your surface AND the rubber ring on the bottom of the grater are clear of debris so it can achieve a sturdy grip. I can cut a 16oz block into 3 pieces and have it shredded in about 90 seconds. I've changed my rating from 4 to 5 stars.

For years I have been hand shredding cheese and it’s the only way to go when baking Mac and cheese, lasagna or pizza but it’s a pain. I bought this before thanksgiving to make baked Mac and cheese which I used over 3lbs of cheese for. It took me 30-45 seconds to shred a block of cheese with ease. I wish I bought this years ago and saved myself the time and hassle. They have different versions but this one is on the smaller side so it’s easily stored, hand washes with ease and user friendly. So far I was able to make Mac and cheese, pizza and even au gratin potatoes (1 small potato sliced in under 15 seconds). Great quality!

Just wanted a suction cup grinder that does what it's supposed to do. This is finally the one! Stays stuck to a Formica surface very well. I didn't test it on any other surface such as tile, granite, or wood.I got this primarily to chop/grind nuts.Easy to use, clean and pretty enough to set out on my counter. I have had many other grinder/ choppers but this one is the best. The different chop/slicer wheels are easy to change. Only con for me is the suction knob is hard to turn but I am 67 and losing hand/wrist strength.

This little guy does great work. I used it to shred sweet potato’s and potatoes for home made hash browns, and then made potato chips with the thin slicer. I have not shredded cheese yet, but the slicer piece worked well and gave me nice thin slices of cheese for crackers, but it works even better on veggies like tomatoes and cucumber. I think this is probably my favorite kitchen gadget ever! It makes prep so much easier and faster! The suction is pretty sturdy as long as you really press it down in place first . Overall, I love this little thing and would highly recommend!

I have to say I was slightly skeptical when I saw this being used on a youtube video. But I liked the guys show and decided to give it a shot.I've always used a box shredder or if I was doing something that required a lot I used a Cuisinart. The box shredder is tedious especially on hard cheeses and the Cuisinart is big and bulky and a pain to clean. So when I got the shredder I was very skeptical on its functionality.Well let me be the one who toll you so! This thing rocks. One, once you suction the base to the counter top, it's not going anywhere. Two, this thing shreds like crazy. If you put too much in the hopper it will shred so fast it will cause the barrel to fill up and get stuck. You'll have to use a fork to get the cheese out.I made Chicago deep dish pizza the other day. I shredded 1lb of mozzarella cheese lickity split. Then I used the fine shredder on some Parmigiano reggiano which was a chore on the box shredder but in this, 6 ounces took just a minute or so.As for clean up, it's a breeze. The barrel disconnects from the handle and the barrel assembly disconnects from the base so you only have 3 pieces to wash, or 4 if you use both graters. It also makes slices if you so desire. My mom just used it to shred up zucchini for fritters and she said she's glad I bought it. She's already told her sister and a good friend to purchase one. This thing makes it so easy I'm never buying pre shredded cheese again.Highly recommend!

Bought this for Christmas to help cook dinner. Didn’t disappoint. Shredded 6 blocks of cheese in 2 minutes. I was somewhat worried because of some reviews saying the handle wanted to fall off or the suction didn’t work but I had neither problem. Everything went smoothly and I did not have any issues and it was a real timesaver and definitely worth the money. Happy with my purchase!

Grating cheese made easy but the suction is not so great. Slipped one to many times but it'll do.

This has been awesome if you're grating a full block of cheese, but I feel these are a little too tough to clean if you're just needing to grate a small amount. But that's not a fault of this product specifically. A typical handheld is just easier and faster. Still 5 stars.

Ralar queijo era uma das minhas tarefas na cozinha, comprei esse porque eu não era muito fã dessa tarefa. Com o triturador ficou trivial ralar queijo (e várias outras coisas), super recomendo.

I used to have something similar to this years ago but I can honestly say it wasn’t as good as this, it’s absolutely brilliant and I can highly recommend buying this if you haven’t already got one, I love it, it’s easy to use, washes brilliantly too, 10/10The suction is spot on, it doesn’t move at all, the different graters are spot on and it is so easy and takes just seconds to grate cheese and I firstly used the grater that I’ve always used with my hand grater which I thought was great BUT the second time of using it I used the grater that’s finer and omg it’s amazing and even though it’s finer, there’s actually MORE CHEESE!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY PLUS IT’S A SAFER WAY TO GRATE THAN THE HAND GRATER, MUCH BETTER AND MUCH QUICKER!Go on treat yourself you’ll be glad you did!👌
