Paired a DEWALT rotzip tool this thing just eats though hardie board making my life so much easier. Firm pressure and it will really cut like butter. These have saved my a fortune in hole saws.

I bought these bits to use to cut holes in my plaster walls. The bits cut easily through plaster. I found the easiest way to cut in plaster is to cut through the poster.layer first, then use a different wood but on the lath. These bits are a bit more money than a regular but but very worth it and seem to last well.

Rather slow going in tile and does not have a short work life, buy more than you think you need.

I watched an electrician go through 3 drywall bits with his Roto Zip tool while installing a light switch for me. Why? because he was attempting to cut through 70 year old button-hole plaster & sheet rock. After that many years, those walls are almost as hard as concrete! Learning from his mistake prompted me to purchase this Carbide bit which cut through that sheet rock like a hot knife through butter with no bad effects on the bit. If I have any complaints it would be that the bits could be a little longer. Roto Zip also makes bits for cutting through wood too.My headline basically says it all.

these fit a dremmel rotary tool and work perfectly on ceramic tile. They won't make even a dent in porcelain, marble etc. but for soft ceramic tiles they are great and last a long time. Easy to make any shaped cut.
