As others mentioned, they aren't going to be an identical texture to the bumper. They were quick to put on. Just remember to measure twice and cut once. Seem very sturdy. If you take the time to measure and cut properly the holes will be easy to line up. I put them on the end cap and held them in place with one hand and just drilled a small pilot hole using the end cap as a guide. Worked perfectly. Entire project took less than an hour. All hardware was included. End caps fit perfectly and will do the job until I find my dream front bumper.

Love these! I chose these over the competitor because these are made of steel, not plastic. Of course, the factory bumper (cover) is plastic, I get that, but I just think the steel end caps look better. Like others have said, the quality of these things is rock solid. If I could afford a whole new bumper I would do that, but this will do just fine for now.Installation wasn't too bad. It is a bit scary taking a recip saw to your Jeep, so just remember to measure twice (or three or four times) before marking and cutting. Otherwise it's pretty straight forward. Took me maybe 30 minutes total. Okay, 45 mins, but that's because I kept loosing my tools... and my beer. Here's a free tip: The instructions say to mark a line at 3.5 inches. Well guess what? A standard 2x4 is right at 3.5 inches wide. So it was easy for me to use a small chunk of 2x4 to get a consistent measurement for marking. Sounds goofy, but it really worked well. Also, paint the newly exposed metal to prevent rusting.

Caps are very easy to install if you’ve got a Saws All with metal cutting blade. Much sturdier than I thought it’d be. Cost is on the high side for what it is, I think.

Very easy to install and looks pretty good for the money. Seems a little over priced just for plastic. Install hint. Use a #1 drill bit. It’s a about 1/32 smaller than 1/4 and the plastic inserts are really tight. Don’t have to worry about them coming out. I will add black silicon where it meats the bumper to fill the gap and give a more professional look.

I bought these because I like the look of the stubby bumper on a Jeep. I didn't want to spend hundreds on a bumper so I found these. They give you the stubby look and keep your original bumper, vacuum cannister location, and fog lights.

I’ve been wanting a stubby bumper for a while but while purchasing a house, a $700 front bumper that I actually liked was out of the question, so I bought these to try. I had damage from off roading and had squat one side of my bumper which always looked terribly unless covered in mud lol. These were really easy to put on, had a bit of trouble cutting through the metal but the rest was easy. Cleans up the bumper perfectly. If you’re looking to get a stubby bumper without an expensive price tag definitely go for this. I will update in a few months to give see how it holds up!

These are made from plastic and are kind of flimsy on their own. Once installed they firm up pretty good.Rough country has an OK install video, but some other youtubers have better ones.

Easy install, look good - BUT way overpriced for plastic -$30 - $40 maybe.
