I'm a new cross-stitcher and I was questioning whether I even needed a bag - can't stuffing everything into an old Ziplock work just as well? The answer is... no it can't. This bag is fantastic. It took me a minute to get used to the size and the design, but you open it up and it is just a treasure trove of places to put stuff. First of all, it is very roomy, much bigger than expected. I am keeping one project in there, but you could easily fit two. There is a big clear plastic compartment for your current project which will fit up to an 11'' hoop - right now I'm using one that is 10.25''. I love being able to see my project at a glance and access the hoop and diagram for reference.Then there are a bazillion other compartments, slots and so-forth to keep all of your cross-stitching supplies. This is great because I'm always losing track of my scissors and needle threader - no more! The middle section comes out, but I've left it in because it's really comfortable to just open the bag up on your lap. That's the part I was not expecting - I thought I would have to take everything out and put everything back in again when I was done - but this is so well-designed you can just sit it on your lap, take things out and put them back after you use them. Makes clean-up a snap. I've been using this just sitting on my couch, but it is perfect for travel. I can't wait to use it on my quarterly road trips. The detachable carrying strap is a nice touch.My acrylic floss wouldn't fit in the smaller clear plastic pockets because it's on a really long piece of cardboard, but it fit in the back pocket with no problem. I think I love this bag more than the actual project I'm working on!

Love this bag! (I didn't take a picture, because it is exactly as shown, but SO much cooler!) It's sleek and black and has a nice texture design on the fabric, with blingy zipper dangles that I love. It just makes me feel good when I use it, if that makes sense. I love putting my sewing way when I am done for the day to keep things tidy and this size is perfect; it conceals a lot of stuff that I need for my project. It's large enough to hold 2-3 projects in my opinion. It has fun little pockets to organize, if you need that. I highly recommend it if you want something a little classy it will hold your project nice and tidy.

This case is so well thought out and stylish. I was using a zip lock bag, stuff would get tangled, hard to find stuff. Now everything has a place, all well organized and easy to see! Why did I wait so long, great value for my money.

Definitely a solid purchase. I have carted this thing to school pick up lines, gymnastics practice and on several trips. My main project I keep in the front plastic compartment. I keep my side projects and extra hoops in the back. Lots of places to store whatever you need and it's deep enough for multiple hoop storage.
