This is not meant to be a commercial drywall jack. I bought it because it was cheaper than renting one from Home Depot for the 3-4 weeks its going to take me to drywall my basement (working on it nights and weekends). it creaks and you can hear things grinding under the weight of 12'x4' 1/2 sheets, but nothing has broken and its saved my back and the headache of lifting and screwing these big sheets on my own

If you’re going to do a ceiling of any size do yourself a favor and buy a lift! This was a back saving and invaluable tool! It went together easy and made drywall installation an ease!

we were installing 5/8" drywall. hardly a light item. we had 20 and even the ones that were only 4 feet off the ground i was Thrilled that we bought this. if you have to put Even Just One piece of drywall on a ceiling, THIS is such an excellent item. the 45 degree 'angle'-ability is going to be a hugely positive thing for installing the drywall in the attic. remember when you bought your first microwave and thought, "Whoa - how did I live without this for so long!!??" yep! that is THIS baby. recommended. happy drywalling.

If you are a diy person and you don't have a lot of help this is a must, if you are putting up sheetrock. This was rather easy to put together. It does what it is supposed to do. It has made my life much easier.

This worked great as I was finishing my daughters basement and hung 120 sheets of drywall. This worked good for their 10 foot ceilings.
