I purchased this propane burner to replace a cheaper one I bought with smaller burner for homebrewing. I am very happy I did that. This burner is worlds better. It provides better, cleaner, hotter, flame which heats faster, and produces no soot. Also, the frame is very sturdy. I imagine that since I do not leave it outside, it will last a long time. Other manufactures sell burners with same burner but different frame for $100-$200.

Well made, very sturdy, and works well. Really puts out a lot of heat when wide open, but still allows fine control for very lot heat. Very satisfied to date.

I bought this for doing my canning outside without using the pressure canner inside so it doesn't heat up my house. This works great. I'm also planning on having a seafood dump in a couple of weeks and using this instead of my son's turkey roaster. I was surprised how heavy duty and sturdy it is. I would buy this again.

The 100,000 btu unit I received is garbage. It doesn’t heat up and smokes like crazy (probably because of the flame burning where the propane hose screws in). I would highly advise against purchasing this burner. Spend the extra $20 for a better burner. After two and a half hours, my 6 gallons of water never made boiling despite a starting temperature of 150 degrees. I got to a whopping 176 degrees, held there for 10 minutes and the temp started to drop.

I bought two for my boiled peanut business. The burners are great, but one regulator leaks, so now I have to buy another regulator so I don't blow up.

First i want to say the unit came shipped in a heavy box with foam slabs protecting it on all sides. It came fully assembled. burner installed. the black frame is fully welded together [no screws needed]. the air control and the pilot are loose in box [you may need to look for them]. So all you have to do is hook up the pilot screw and air valve to have it complete. I would recommend this to everyone.
